Rental Process
Please Note
Burnaby Schools are not open for rentals during any school closure periods such as Spring Break, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Break, Winter Break, Professional Development days or Statutory holidays. For further information on when school breaks are occurring please see the district calendar.
The rental process in Burnaby Schools varies depending on a few different factors and locations. Please select the option/location below that best applies to your situation.
After School Program

Are you a licensed, non-profit provider interested in child care in Burnaby Schools? The District will post a Request for Proposal (RFP) on the BC Bid website if there are any opportunities for new child care spaces in our schools.

Filming
Organizations interested in renting Burnaby School facilities for filming must complete a rental application form. The completed application form must be submitted to Facility Rentals at least 10 business days prior to your start date.
Language Program
Language Programs in Burnaby Schools must be approved by British Columbia Heritage Language Association. For more information please contact BCHLA.

Outdoor Fields
The only school district fields that are available to rent are booked through a partnership agreement with the City of Burnaby. They are as follows:
- Burnaby Central Turf Field
- Burnaby North Turf Field
- Byrne Creek Turf Field
- Cariboo Hill Turf Field
- Edmonds All Weather Field
- Stride Avenue All Weather Field

1. Organizations or community groups interested in renting Burnaby School facilities must complete a rental application form. The completed application form must be submitted to Facility Rentals at least 2 weeks prior to your start date.
2. Facility Rentals will then forward the rental application to the school principal to confirm availability and obtain approval.
3. Once the request is approved, a rental invoice will be generated for the User to sign digitally and remit payment.
